Jennifer Welch is forced to ‘rent’ a husband on this week’s Sweet Home Oklahoma, after a ‘to-do’ list she made for partner Josh goes up in flames — literally!
Jennifer, the couple’s kids Dylan and Roman, and friend Angie “Pumps” Sullivan (read more about the Sweet home Oklahoma cast here) put together the list for Josh after complaining that he doesn’t do enough around the house.
When co-star Lee comes around the house to see Josh, he explains how the whole list idea is grating on him — and it’s obvious he’s pretty much made up his mind that he’s not going to do any of them.
As he and Jennifer have already divorced (although they’re trying to make it work again), he jokes: “What if I don’t do any of them, ever? What’s she going to do? Divorce me?”
Lee then has a lightbulb moment and convinces him to set fire to the list then take a picture of it and send it to Jennifer to get her blood boiling.
She says: “Jennifer, as much as I lover her, is a little bit of a control freak. Or actually a lot of a control freak. I think that Josh probably can do more around the house. But I think it will be fun to raz Jennifer a little bit.”
Jennifer then has no choice but to “rent” a husband to do the jobs Josh refuses to do…
