General Hospital spoilers for next week’s episodes of ABC’s soap tease that some jaw-droppingly scary action takes place in the New Year as the hunt for the Port Charles serial killer intensifies.

Poor Curtis (Donnell Turner), why does everyone rain on his parade? Whether he likes it or not, he is back deep in the thick of another murder mystery. Lucky for him his wife is the Chief of Police, or he would be prime suspect number one!

But Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) knows better and this week she and Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) have a confab about the craziness stalking Port Chuck.

On another disturbing front, the drama surrounding Oscar (Garren Stitt) continues. Next week he gets some much needed support from Joss (Eden McCoy) when these two get to spend some time together.

GH doctors Terry (Cassandra James) and Kim (Tamara Braun) also spend time talking about Oscar. Will these two have good or bad news to deliver?

We can tell you that Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) finally receives some good news for once. And, spectacular spy Anna (Finola Hughes) is another mom who has reason to rejoice. By week’s end she and Peter (Wes Ramsey) come together in a special moment that you definitely won’t want to miss.

Elsewhere Franco’s (Roger Howarth) nerves are getting the best of him. And that’s never a good thing. Later in the week he comes upon Ava (Maura West) at a sensitive time and her reaction is priceless.

Speaking of Peter, he gets an earful from Lulu (Emme Rylan) who clues him in on her conversation with Margaux.

Next week Sonny (Maurice Benard) gets busy and takes it upon himself to check on the town’s ace reporter, Lulu.

And there is a Friday cliffhanger to look forward to! Both Sonny and Griffin (Matt Cohen) cross each other’s paths at the chapel. What happens next is must-see tv!

General Hospital airs weekdays during the day on ABC.
