Days of our Lives fans can expect two delightful characters with a connection to appear in September, and they’re sure to turn the town on its ear. Who’s coming to Salem?

First of all, former One Life to Live star Robin Strasser will debut as Vivian Alamain on Tuesday, September 3. Her appearance has been shrouded in mystery, but it’s been revealed that she will play the role of Vivian, previously played by the fabulous Louise Sorel.

Strasser’s run is short-term, reportedly set for around a dozen episodes. OLTL fans hoping that Strasser, who played Dorian, and Kassie DePaiva (Eve) who played her niece Blair on the now-defunct ABC soap would share airtime are in luck! The actresses will meet in Salem, although there are no details about what transpires between Vivian and Eve.

Also returning the very same day is William Utay who has played the mad scientist Dr. Rolf to perfection for two decades. Do you think there’s a coincidence that both characters are popping back up at the same time?

It likely is no coincidence at all! Among his other exploits are bringing back people from the dead, and we last saw a supposedly dead Vivian being injected with the good doctor’s serum, presumably to be brought back to life. There was also speculation that a set of doors with initials on them referred to Vivian. The doors were seen last year in the infamous warehouse which went up in flames.

Several of the doors were thought to reference past characters including one with the initials VA on it. There were also doors with the initials AD and JD, presumably for the currently back-from-the-dead characters Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).

What will Vivian and Dr. Rolf get up to when they make bombshell returns in September?

Be sure to tune in and find out!
