Days of our Lives spoilers for the Wednesday, October 31, 2018 episode of the NBC soap tease that Salem will never again be the same after a night of spooktacular hauntings and ghostly appearances. What else would you expect on Halloween in a town called Salem?!

Speculation about Andre (Thaao Penghlis) has been hot and heavy ever since we got glimpses of mysterious initials on the doors in the now destroyed warehouse of thrills and chills. With the reveal of the initials A.D. on one of the warehouse doors, fans were speculating that Andre would be brought back from the dead.

Stranger things have happened, but on Wednesday, Andre does make a ghostly appearance. You never could keep a good DiMera down, right?

But that’s not the only ghostly specter haunting Salemites on Halloween!

Sami (Alison Sweeney) is in for a shock when she spies a sinister blast from the past. But do her eyes deceive her? Or is it really the one and only evil mastermind and mad scientist Dr. Rolf (William Utay) standing before her?

Yikes, talk about a nightmare! Or, maybe a dream come true where Sami is concerned. If it is indeed the lunatic lab rat, then he may hold the key to returning her beloved E.J. to her. One has to hope that the mystery patient’s identity is soon revealed and that it is someone fans know and love!

Eve (Kassie DePaiva) stuns Brady (Eric Martsolf) by revealing she’s leaving Salem! Just in his time of need, Eve decides it’s time to go to New York. How will the beefcake respond to this latest rebuff?

Meanwhile, Hattie (Deidre Hall) is having second thoughts about living the good life as Dr. Marlena Evans. Explosive spoilers reveal that John (Drake Hogestyn) scores a major coup. Could it be that Hattie has a change of heart about their “marriage?”

Days of our Lives airs on weekdays on NBC.
