This week on Alone, the survival contestants find out just how challenging the terrain is and one of them is seriously injured.
Last week both we and the ten initial participants got a first look at the harsh land of Patagonia, whose unforgiving nature pulls no punches.
This week nine remain and as they journey further into this almost mystical landscape, they face new dangers.

One gets stuck in quick sand, another is lost in the dense brush as the trees and tangled vegetation make navigating tricky. Slippy tree roots prove a constant trip hazard and one survivalist suffers a serious injury.
Find out if there will still be nine at the end of this week!
