A stunning bride on Say Yes to the Dress tonight plans on making a box-office splash at her wedding — with a dress inspired by the movie Fifty Shades Freed.
Dakota Johnson’s character Anastasia ‘Ana’ Steele-Grey is seen in a lacy button-backed gown in the trailer and posters for the film, which is set to be released next month on February 9.
Tonight on Say Yes to the Dress, bride-to-be Brianna wants to find one as dazzling, but it’s not going to come cheap.
The good thing is she’s got her older brother on hand — who decides to DOUBLE his budget for the dress so his little sister can get the dress of her dreams.
Watch a clip from this week’s episode below as Brianna tries on a gown in the same vein as the one in Fifty Shades Freed. But while the top half makes the mark, her brother Adrian things the bottom half doesn’t come up to scratch.
He says: “I like the top part, I just feel we’re losing the ‘wow’ factor.” He adds in an interview: “It doesn’t have enough glitz, it doesn’t have enough glamour — no drama at all.”
The dress comes in at $2,900, $100 under the initial budget Adrian came up with for his sister’s dress. But he wants her to settle for nothing less than perfection, so tells Randy Fenoli to increase the budget by another $2,000-$3,000 — double the initial one.
A stunned Randy says: “Really?” But Adrian replies: “That’s my baby sister! I’m ready!”
