Little People, Big World alums Jeremy and Audrey Roloff announced their third pregnancy recently, and fans of the show are calling it an “awkward train wreck.”
Jeremy and Audrey both announced the pregnancy on Instagram, sharing the same video on their separate social media accounts.
In the video, Jeremy tossed his and Audrey’s kids, Ember and Bode, into the air and caught them, before doing the same with a reel of sonogram pics.
Jeremy and Audrey announced they were adding to their family when they stood in front of a sign that read, “Tie-breaker coming November….”
LPBW fans weren’t impressed with Jeremy and Audrey’s ‘awkward’ announcement
Fans of LPBW discussed the couple’s pregnancy announcement, and most of them weren’t impressed with Jeremy and Audrey’s efforts at time-lapsed short films.
One fan of LPBW took to Reddit to open the topic to other fans of the show and told the group, “I just can’t get over how awkward [Audrey] and [Jeremy’s] pregnancy announcement was. [Jeremy] reaching for the thrown blown up sonogram like a child with poor gross motor skills. The awkward shot of the sonogram falling and hitting the lens of the camera.”
The post continued, “[Audrey] smiling through her teeth as she cues Ember to say her line for the video. Their awkward and tired sounding “woo’s” after [Jeremy] lackadaisically announces the pregnancy. [Jeremy] seemingly kissing [Audrey] out of obligation for the video rather than excitement. The whole thing is a train wreck that I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF, I’m probably half of their view count on that stupid video haha.”
Was their announcement a ‘train wreck’?
Another fan of LPBW referred to the announcement as a “train wreck” when they commented on the post, “Wow perfect description of the train wreck . Then she posted it a few days later she was like just in case you missed the news.”
“Agreed. Very awkward,” said another Reddit user who agreed that the announcement was “awkward.”
Yet another fan of LPBW felt that the announcement would have been better if they let their daughter, Ember, be the center of attention.
“It would have been better if they stood there and let Ember do the talking,” said the LPBW fan.
Jeremy and Audrey’s announcement was mostly well-received by family and friends
Jeremy and Audrey’s big announcement comes on the heels of their social media hiatus in May. The couple told their followers that taking a break from social media now and again is “healthy and life-giving.”
LPBW fans were scratching their heads when Jeremy and Audrey’s sister-in-law, Tori Roloff, snubbed their announcement.
Jeremy and Audrey’s other family members, friends, and even some other TLC stars congratulated the couple on their pregnancy, but Tori remained tightlipped.
The couple’s third baby is due to arrive just three months after Jeremy’s mom, Amy Roloff, weds her fiance, Chris Marek, on Roloff Farms in August. It looks like there will be plenty more excitement coming to the ever-growing Roloff family, so fans, stay tuned.
