Katie Maloney apologizes to Lala Kent for calling her a “w***e” on this week’s Vanderpump Rules reunion.
Katie slut-shamed Lala after the former SUR hostess made fat-shaming comments about Katie and some of her other co-stars, saying they had not been “working on their summer bodies”.
Lala also made comments about Katie’s new husband Tom, saying he was well endowed and and how she would like to get him between the sheets.
Katie insinuated that Lala was a working girl when she was filmed looking at Lala’s naked profile pic, saying: “If your naked ass is your profile picture, maybe you booked a job in Italy…but it’s probably not modelling.”
Then when Lala tried to apologize for the fat-shaming comments, she brought it up again, saying: “Call it as I see it!”
But on Part 2 of 3 of the Vanderpump Rules reunion, both Katie and Lala end up in tears when Katie makes a sincere apology for her comments.
The pair don’t get off to a good start when Lala arrives to take part in the end-of-season sit-down…
But she then digs deep and meaningfully says sorry, admitting: “I went after you…I cannot justify the things I said, but I do apologize for them.”
Lala is stunned by the apology, and has to tilt her head back due to the tears in her eyes so that her eyelashes don’t fall off.
She tells host Andy Cohen: “I’ve waited a long time to have just one of them say ‘I’m sorry for hurting your feelings’.”
She adds to Katie: “I totally did mean that apology that day.”
The reunion also sees Lala facing questions about her dating life and of her disappearance from SUR.
Meanwhile, Stassi Schroeder — whose nearly naked photoshoot made headlines during the season — has her younger brother join the debate.
