This week’s Below Deck has it all — love triangles, partying, and some seriously hard-to-watch male WAXING.
The rich guests are still on board and decide to challenge each other to a pushup competition, which as the male crew members point out ends up resembling walruses mating.
But whoever loses then has to get a ‘V’ waxed in their chest hair to symbolize the boat’s name Valor.
But with these two guys we’re not talking a light smattering of baby fluff — but a full-on bodyhair fur coat.
Watch the clip below as both the men end up getting waxed, leaving the crew stunned. As Nico says: “”Why is Bigfoot getting waxed right now?”
Meanwhile, also on this week’s Below Deck episode, titled The Freak Comes Out at Night, Sierra has to make a decision after her rocky evening with Ben, Kelley has to run the boat shorthanded after Trevor’s departure, and a new crew member joins the Valor and immediately has eyes for one of the stewardesses.
Then there’s the elephant in the room as Lauren’s romantic feelings for Nico come out in the open when the crew head for a night out and he starts flirting with Emily.
Nico tells Ben: “I’ve been getting this look from Lauren; she doesn’t even want to talk to me. I say something and she just ignores me. I know something’s wrong. I know her energy, I know her so well.”
Ben tell him: “Well, she likes you man! Just trust me on this.”
Nico groans as he says: “Oh, Lauren, Lauren, Lauren. I feel so bad for her that I don’t have those feelings and the last thing I want to do is hurt her.”
At the club Lauren just can’t deal with Nico flirting with Emily and refuses to come in. Kelley tells Nico to go and get her, saying: “She’s outside. Look out for your friend.”
Nico then tries to comfort Lauren on the beach, saying: “What’s going on? You alright?”
She says: “I just can’t talk to you right now,” but she insists she isn’t mad at him.
Lauren says: “I feel embarrassed within myself that I thought we were on the same page and then now he’s flirting with Emily, and I just had no idea that that was even anything on his mind. Just it’s painful to watch really.”
Emily initially tells the camera: “Nico and I are still getting to know each other, but he’s a very interesting character and he’s quite attractive.”
But then Kelley spills the beans on Nico — telling Emily that he already has a girlfriend.
Emily is not happy. She says: “I disapprove of anyone making moves on people when they have other connections.”
