Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon finally gave their relationship a real chance and got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise, following Jared’s commitment to Ashley.

After their wedding, the two had plans to start a family. On January 31, 2022, Baby Dawson Dimitri Brady Haibon was born to the proud, first-time parents.

Since then, Ashley has talked a lot about her birth, her recovery, and how sick she was during pregnancy. She also has dealt with criticism from people after she made the choice not to breastfeed.

Now Ashley is speaking out about how much a woman’s body changes post-pregnancy, and the love women should still be giving themselves after having a baby.

What did Ashley Iaconetti say to her fans about post-partum body image and weight loss?

Now that Dawson is almost three months old, Ashley has had time to reflect and get used to her post-partum body and mental state from having a newborn as a first-time mom.

She answered some fan questions during a Q&A in response to her own body and postpartum journey thus far.

One fan asked her how her body bounced back so quickly after giving birth not quite three months ago.

Ashley started by saying that many people have asked her this same question, and she candidly said, “I am definitely not the norm. I am about five pounds away from my ‘upper normal’ weight about 10 weeks after giving birth. I gained about 35 pounds during my pregnancy and in my third trimester, I ate with reckless regard.”

She also relayed to fans that she has good genetics because her mom also lost her baby weight fairly quickly after giving birth.

Not only did Ashley share about her post-partum body and image, but she had some advice to give to other moms going through the same thing.

She declared, “Please don’t stress about the pregnancy weight. Don’t worry about how much you gain and don’t worry about how fast you lose it or if you lose it at all!”

Ashley talked about how at times, she felt like the only thing she could physically muster was sitting on the couch, watching TV. She went on to say that while she did that, she ate … a lot.

Ashley had a lot of good advice to pass along to other women

She wants moms-to-be and post-partum moms to know it’s ok to be stressed, it’s ok to eat when you want, and that you should love your body no matter what size it is.

Ashley talked about the fact that as long as you are mentally and physically healthy, then size doesn’t matter. Growing a human and birthing a human is both tough, emotional, and stressful at times.

She also told her fans, “When I’m stressed, I remind myself that my family is happy, healthy, and safe, and that’s what’s important. Plus, you’re still hot! You’re the only one noticing your weight probably.”

It seems like Ashley is doing well mentally and physically herself, and her positive self-love and self-worth talk is definitely something for women everywhere to take notice of.

The Bachelorette premieres Monday, July 11th, on ABC.
