Andrew Spencer stole the hearts of fans on Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, especially after he left the note for her upon his elimination.

As Clay Harbor’s cousin, Andrew has been in the spotlight quite a bit in Bachelor Nation, and fans are hoping to see him this summer on Bachelor in Paradise.

While there has been some speculation that Andrew and Teddi Wright, a contestant from Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor, may be involved, only time will tell if they will show up on Paradise and even click.

Recently, Andrew was interviewed by the Bachelor Insider, where they asked him questions about being on the show, his favorite parts, and what he learned and took away from his experience.

What was the one piece of advice Andrew gave to contestants going on the show?

One specific question they asked Andrew was, “What should you not forget to pack a lot of if you are going on The Bachelorette?”

Andrew, without hesitation, responded with, “A lot of underwear. Couple times, I had to go commando.”

Luckily for Andrew, if he does go on Bachelor in Paradise, he can wear his swim trunks most of the time. So just in case he forgets his own advice, he’ll still be covered.

What else did Andrew reveal about his time on The Bachelorette?

In the interview, Andrew was also asked some other questions about his time spent on the show.

One was what was something he still has from the show, and Andrew stated that he kept all of Katie’s roses and everything he was given on the dates.

When asked if he had any advice for someone going on as a contestant for The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, Andrew relayed that you should never stray away from being yourself, never forget who you are, and stay true to that.

He stated that being on The Bachelorette taught him that love can happen quickly. It doesn’t have to be a slow process, and sometimes when you know, you know.

Moreover, Andrew’s favorite part of being involved with the show was not having to worry about social media and electronics. He enjoyed unplugging, putting away his phone, and just enjoying being in the company of other human beings.

Andrew declared that he hopes that he would be happily married within the next five years. Well, maybe he and Teddi will hit it off this summer, or he’ll find out he is compatible with someone else on the island, and that will happen sooner than he thinks!

The Bachelorette premieres Monday, July 11th, on ABC.
