Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley often seeks solace in husband Paul Kemsley — as her feuds with co-stars Lisa Rinna and Erika Girardi spiral out of control.
Paul, who also agreed to take part in the Bravo show, recently said he feels he’s to blame for her ordeal on RHOBH.
It has seen her in pretty much constant run-ins with her fellow housewives since day one.
He said: “Dorit joining the housewives was my idea, which is why I feel completely responsible.”
But who is multi-millionaire Paul, affectionately known as “PK”?
Paul, born Paul Zeital Kemsley, is an English tycoon with a string of business interests.
He made most of his money in property development, and has also had high profile roles as a former vice-chairman of soccer team Tottenham Hotspur, one of the biggest clubs in the English Premier League, and as chairman of the New York Cosmos soccer club.
He had his first brush with business when he was just 15 when he worked at a clothes store called John Paul Menswear.
It led to him meeting Mike Ashley, who opened his first Sport Direct store — now one of the UK’s biggest sports equipment and clothing chains — nearby.
After leaving school at the age of 17 in 1984, Kemsley worked as a surveyor and then as a real-estate agent before leaving his job to join Ashley in expanding his Sports Direct business in 1992.
He then founded his own property and security firm called Rock Joint Ventures Ltd, along with Tottenham Hotspurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Kemsley went on to be a director and vice-chairman of the club from 2001 to 2007, and left to expand his property portfolio.
The financial crisis of 2008 caused him and his business several problems and saw Rock Joint Ventures Ltd go into administration.
However, he has since recovered his fortunes.
As well as property, Kemsley is also the owner of talent management agency Nixxi Entertainment which includes Boy George on its books. The Culture Club singer regularly lives with the pair.
Nixxi also represents soccer legend Pelé.
He also appeared as an advisor on the UK version of The Apprentice between 2005 and 2008.
Kemsley met Dorit at a restaurant in NYC, and they later married and moved to Los Angeles where they now have two young kids, son Jagger and daughter Phoenix.
He is known to be a devoted family man and a great dad. The couple live in Beverly Hills.
