Parisa Fitz-Henley has been cast as Suit’s actress Meghan Markle and Murray Fraser as Prince Harry in Lifetime’s forthcoming feature film Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.
Variety reports that the TV movie will tell the story of they met through mutual friends, through their initial romance and how they dealt with the huge media pressure once their relationship became public.
It will also look into just how they managed to keep their courtship so secret and how the British establishment reacted to Prince Harry looking to marry a divorced, mixed-race American actress.
Jones played Reva Connors in Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, following that up with her role as Fiji Cavanaugh in Midnight Texas.
Fraser played PC Jason Denny in TV mini-series The Loch and also had a part in Victoria.
Filming of Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will start later this month in Vancouver and Los Angeles.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are due to marry May 19 this year at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, UK.
