Netflix’s new kids show Word Party starts on July 8 — and it promises to be the perfect way to get your kids talking.
The original series features four cute and cuddly looking baby animals, Bailey, Franny, Kip and Lulu. It’s being made by The Jim Henson Company, the same producer behind things like The Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock.
It aims to help young children learn new words with an all-singing, all-dancing format where new words are introduced and reinforced by the characters as they have the ultimate colorful party.
Word Party draws on The Jim Henson Company’s decades of experience (it was founded nearly 70 years ago in 1958) and is among the first of Netflix’s original series for kids.
