The Penn Badgley led thriller, You, joined the list of Netflix binge-worthy series over the Christmas holidays.

The series follows Joe Goldberg, who meets and falls in love with a woman named Beck. Goldberg begins to stalk Guinevere Beck, played by Elizabeth Lail, as her friends become suspicious of their relationship. The binge-worthy series already has fans looking forward to Season 2 of You.

Netflix picked up the series to join its original lineup after it originally aired on Lifetime.

When is Netflix releasing Season 2 of You?

Prior to the premiere of the first season, Netflix confirmed that the series will be returning for Season 2. The upcoming season does not have a release date but will likely premiere some time in 2019. With an early renewal at Netflix, the second season may get a Summer 2019 release date. The episode count is yet to be confirmed but will likely contain 10 episodes.

What to expect in You Season 2

Penn Badgley will reprise his role as Joe Goldberg in Season 2 and many new characters will be brought in as Goldberg relocates to LA. It is also possible that some ghost from the past will return to haunt Goldberg; therefore, part of Season 2 of You may be bi-coastal with the main character returning to NYC.

There are a lot of burning questions from the first season that the series will likely address in the upcoming season.

All ten episodes of You Season 1 are currently streaming on Netflix.
