Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham has revealed the news fans around the world have been waiting for — that the show will be available globally on Netflix from July 1.
Gilmore Girls has been one of our favorite shows of recent years and the news comes ahead of its return in a limited run of four new 90-minute shows as Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, also on Netflix, in November.
It means fans who haven’t seen the whole seven seasons or want to revisit them will be able to do so whenever they want wherever they are in the world.
Lauren said: “Any place you can watch Netflix you can watch Gilmore Girls starting July 1. You may have heard that new episodes are coming to Netflix later this year [in November] — we can’t wait.
“Maybe you’ve seen Gilmore Girls or maybe you’ve never seen it but always wanted to watch it. Either way, now you can.”
Gilmore Girls centers around Lauren’s character single mum Lorelai and her gifted daughter Rory, played by Alexis Bledel, in Stars Hollow, Connecticut.
