Kamie Crawford is returning as Nev Schulman’s co-host on Catfish: The TV Show for the upcoming episode. This will mark the second episode for Kamie, who MTV claims is back in the hosting chair due to popular demand.

While Crawford was eager to promote tonight’s episode of the show, an episode she claims will shock viewers, some are questioning whether her return to Catfish could mean that she’s now a full-time host.

That doesn’t appear to be the case, as Nev is also bringing back Tallulah Willis for another episode that airs immediately after the first one in a back-to-back screening of two brand new episodes of Catfish.

That doesn’t mean that Crawford won’t be taking on the hosting duties for a possible 8th season of Catfish: The TV Show.

We’ve previously covered what you need to know about Kamie Crawford. But one of the reasons why she’d be a good candidate as a full-time host with Nev Schulman is that she’s a journalist and she seems to be very comfortable in front of the camera.

When people saw Kamie on Catfish: The TV Show, many reached out to her, telling her that she was the perfect replacement for Max Joseph, who chose to leave the show in August 2018 to pursue other things.

Since then, Nev has shuffled around a few co-hosts in hopes of finding the perfect solution. But the idea of having several co-hosts that all bring something different seems to work well.

Nev and Kamie appear to have great chemistry, something that is shown during the first few episodes of the episode, as Nev helps Kamie with her makeup.

Catfish: The TV Show airs tonight, Wednesday, January 2, with two back-to-back episodes starting at 8/7c on MTV.
