Damon Dash’s son Boogie sees his addiction worsen on this week’s Growing Up Hip Hop — when he turns up to an AA meeting while high.
Boogie, whose troubles with drink and drugs have taken center stage on this season of the WE tv show, attends the AA meeting with Briana Latrise, the daughter of Mary J Blige’s former husband Martin “Kendu” Isaacs.
But the way he behaves leads her to suspect he’s not clean, and she confronts him about it.
Afterwards, she calls his Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder father and tells him: “I just left a meeting with Boogie, and I think there’s a couple of things that we need to discuss.”
Last week’s episode saw Dame Dash confronting Boogie after he was caught drunk driving, saying if he didn’t get control of his life it would end in only one of two ways — “jail or death”.
This week’s episode of Growing Up Hip Hop also sees Master P’s son Romeo Miller getting baby fever, while Kristina DeBarge meets her alleged half-sister.
Meanwhile, hip-hop veteran Treach breaks down as he accuses ex-wife Pepa of Salt-n-Pepa fame of making up “lies” about him abusing her in her autobiography.
