One of the pairs competing in The Amazing Race this season do the unthinkable on this week’s episode — and misplace their passports.
The incident happens as the teams race to the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania where they build and deliver desks for a local school.
The episode sees the contestants face a Blind Double U-turn, which includes elements from both the U-turn, where teams can force rivals to complete a detour option they previously chose not to complete, and the Blind U-turn, where they hand down the U-turn anonymously.
But while that might be traumatic to endure, it’s nothing compared to misplacing your passport…while travelling…in the Amazing Race.
Watch the clip below as Phil Keoghan tells the guilty party: “I CANNOT check you in until you have your passports.”
But will they find them, or will this be the end of the road for the pair?
Also on this week’s Amazing Race episode, titled Bucket List Type Stuff, Shamir Arzeno and Sara Fowler start to grate on each other.
Meanwhile, tensions rise as the pairs race to get tickets for the ferry to Zanzibar, after finding out where they had to go by reading an advert placed in the local Guardian newspaper.
While most of the groups stand in line, not everybody is quite so polite…35
