Nev Schulman has recruited Kamie Crawford to be his co-host on this week’s episode of Catfish: The TV Show. Crawford, who may best be known for being Maryland’s first Miss Teen USA in 2010, has an extensive resume that also includes multi-media journalist and social media sensation.

Her personal website lists a bunch of hats that she’s worn throughout her career, including journalist, television host, producer, model, and entrepreneur. She keeps busy, traveling from Los Angeles to New York City, working with networks and publications, including ABC, Pix 11 News, and People Magazine.

You may also recognize her from her own docuseries called F in Fabulous, which aired on BET.

After her Miss Teen USA win in 2010, Kamie Crawford decided to pursue her own business. Since she was working in the fashion world and wasn’t pleased that anything over size 4 was considered plus-size, she decided to launch her own lifestyle brand.

She calls it NOX, a company she started at the age of 21. Now, four years later, she’s determined to rock the fashion world and encourage a healthier image for girls and women.

According to NOX’s website, the company strives to curate the best products for girls and women to make them feel luxurious, inspired and unstoppable.

As for Crawford, she has the education to back up her big dreams. She graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies. She also has a double concentration in Digital Media and TV Broadcasting.

Other than Catfish: The TV Show, Kamie Crawford also appeared on an episode of Hell’s Kitchen as a student chef back in 2012, and she starred in the movie Rip the Runway ’11 from 2011, where she played herself.

Catfish The TV Show airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on MTV.
