Bow Wow talks to the young rappers about publicity on The Rap Game

Bow Wow is the guest star on this week’s The Rap Game on Lifetime — where he teaches the kids about fame and how to handle the media.

The episode, titled Full Court Press, is all about media skills and publicity, and Bow Wow heads into the studio to help the youngsters get ready for a press conference, TV interview and a photoshoot for True Star Jr. magazine.

Speaking about talking to the media, he tells them: “I know one thing I had to learn was, just be careful what you say. You might be there talking about your brand new single and you look up…now the article’s about something totally different.”

But he adds: “At the same time you want them. They’re the ones who push the brand out there, so the interviewing…the waking up early in the morning…you’ve got to just power through it, because the rap game is crazy.”

What can Bow Wow teach the crew about working the press?
