Alycia Debnam-Carey is the actress behind Alicia Clark on Fear The Walking Dead.

The 25-year-old also played Commander Lexa in The 100, but despite being best known for those two roles she has an impressive background in the arts.

Born in 1993 in Australia, Alycia has acted since she was just eight-years-old and attended a high school for Performance Arts, where she graduated with top grades in 2011.

While Fear The Walking Dead may be one of her biggest success stories so far, Alycia had done plenty of television prior to the AMC show.

Her big break was as Lexa in The 100, a role which she played from 2014 to 2016, but her credits stem back to 2003 when she did a short feature called Martha’s New Coat.

She later went on to appear in various TV movies and series, mainly in Australia, including Dance Academy and McLeod’s Daughter.

It wasn’t until she went to the United States at the age of 18 that she started getting more attention from American viewers.

She documented her entire transition from Australia to Hollywood for a show called Next Stop Hollywood.

It was a documentary that showed six Australian actors making their way from their homeland to the mecca of television and movies.

The decision to move to the United States worked out well for her. Before landing her roles on The 100 and Fear The Walking Dead, she had parts in three movies, Into The Storm and The Devil’s Hand, both in 2014, and Friend Request in 2016. In 2014, she also appeared in a pilot for AMC called Galyntine.

Even though Alycia Jasmin Debnam-Carey may be busy with Fear The Walking Dead, she’s still quite active on her social media accounts.

On her Instagram, she’s often seen hanging out with friends and exploring what California has to offer.

Fear The Walking Dead airs on Sundays at 9/8c on AMC.
