A&E’s ‘Rooster & Butch’ and the crazy pitches they get

Rooster & Butch
The guys listen to crazy pitches in their offices

Tonight, the second episode of A&E’s Rooster & Butch first season sees Rooster McConaughey and Butch Gilliam on the receiving end of crazy get rich quick pitches left on their answering machine.

Self-made millionaires, Mike “Rooster” McConaughey and Butch Gilliam, are all about the American Dream and are looking for ambitious entrepreneurs to invest in or with and create a new fortune.

They are joined by Gil Prather, as the West Texas team is wheelin’ and dealin’ finding the boldest investment opportunities out there.

Think Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid meet Shark Tank, with a little McConaughey mixed in (Rooster is Matthew McConaughey’s brother). They could talk about their new series as well as talk about their individual businesses, the art of making a deal and how they got to where they are today (with a ton of humor mixed in).

Similar to Shark Tank the show follows Entrepreneurs who come to West Texas looking to win over Rooster & Butch and gain an investment in their company.

They believe in inspiration and really want to get to know the person before the company.

Over a beer and a handshake, business is conducted the old fashioned way in what looks to be a retro old fashioned western peppered with a Texan sensibility and broad sense of humor.

Rooster & Butch airs Wednesday at 10pm ET/PT on A&E.
