Counting On has been off the air for a few months now. The season ended prior to John David Duggar marrying Abbie Grace Burnett but they did air a special to show the wedding away from the season. Viewers have been wondering when the new season will air and now, that info has finally been released.
A new season announcement generally comes with good news from the Duggar family as well. Speculation was that perhaps John David and Abbie may be expecting or that Josiah and Lauren would have a little one on the way. While both are still possible, that is not the announcement that was made.
Instead, Jessa made an announcement that she is pregnant with her third child as news of the Counting On Season 9 premiere date was released.

What can viewers expect from Season 9 of Counting On?
If Counting On follows what it has done previously, some of the footage will be the lead up to John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett getting married.
There is also some speculation that there will be more of Josiah and Lauren featured as well. Of course, viewers are hoping to see Jana Duggar step out of her comfort zone.
