Walmart’s ‘famous cars’ grocery pickup commercial: Watch it in full

Walmart has released a brand new commercial, highlighting the most popular and iconic vehicles in movies and television.

The humorous TV spot sees the string of amazing and memorable cars touted as all possible vehicles you could pick up your groceries in.

The full-length commercial starts with the Batmobile from the newest Batman movies, followed by the iconic Ghostbusters car driving through what appears to be a big city, such as New York.

Then the footage cuts to the Knight Rider vehicle, also known as K.I.T.T. to fans. And that’s when everything starts to make sense, as we are transported to a Walmart parking lot. You can catch the short-version of the commercial below with the full version further down.

In the longer version of the commercial, you can also see the dog vehicle from Dumb & Dumber, a nod to Clark Griswold and the National Lampoon’s Vacation film series, Scooby Doo, and even Jurassic Park.

The commercial even throws in something for the younger audience with a pumpkin that turns into Cinderella’s magic ride to the Prince’s ball. And don’t forget Fred Flintstone’s car, which tilts over as it parks near the Walmart.

But a commercial about famous cars wouldn’t be complete without The Transformers and the flying car from the Back To The Future franchise, which also make appearances in the longer version.

It may only be the start of January, but the Walmart ‘famous cars’ grocery pickup commercial could well go down as one of the best commercials of 2019.
