Leah Remini’s powerful docuseries, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, is returning for a third season and soon. The award-winning show has garnered positive reactions from viewers and critics, as Leah opened up about Scientology. The show, now on its third season, is about actress Remini, who is a former member of Scientology.

Since leaving the religion behind, she’s been outspoken about the religion, including publishing her bestselling memoir, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.

Now, she’s back and she has more questions than ever about the leader of Scientology, the non-disclosure agreements, and much more. A&E released a teaser for the upcoming season and it’s clear that Remini is ready to ask the tough questions.

The new season will be eight episodes long and will feature four specials. Before the new special airs, A&E will air a two-hour Aftermath special on Tuesday, November 13 starting at 9/8c, where she will shine a light on the inner workings of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

In this special called Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath: The Jehovah’s Witnesses, Remini and Mike Rinder will meet with former members of this organization and talk about how things have unfolded for them. You can check out a preview below.

The show was only meant to serve as a single season, where Remini wanted to talk about the abuse, the scandals, and the scary stories that people were sharing after leaving Scientology behind. While Leah faced criticism from The Church of Scientology for her comments on the show, she was encouraged to do a second season after the first season resulted in many people coming forward.

Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath won an Emmy Award in 2017 for Outstanding Informational Series or Special and was nominated for the same category in 2018. The series has also won a Producers Guild Award and a NATPE Unscripted Breakthrough Award in 2018.

For the third season, Leah is ready to ask tougher questions and really get some answers.

Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath will return to A&E on Tuesday, November 27 at 9/8c.
