On a recent episode of 90 Day Fiance, Nicole came to visit and as usual, she and Chantel almost immediately had drama. It was all about the couch Nicole was expected to sleep on during her stay,
Naturally, Pedro took his sister’s side, alienating Chantel once again. He even talked about leaving their apartment with Nicole so the pair could stay in a hotel room instead.
That’s likely where rumors that the siblings might not be related after all, leading the way for an even more shocking 90 Day Fiance clip. Is it possible that Pedro’s mom is running an arranged marriage business that Chantel didn’t know about?
It’s no secret that Pedro’s mom is an attorney but even Chantel was shocked to learn that she is an immigration attorney and regularly helps people obtain visas and get permission to travel and move abroad. Chantel looked really surprised and made it clear that she had nothing to do with their paperwork.
It gets even worse than that! Chantel’s mom found a website advertising Pedro’s mother’s services and it doesn’t just look like she’s helping with immigration.
Instead, Chantel’s mom claims that Pedro’s mom is running an “arranged marriage ring.” She says that she found a website run by Pedro’s mother that advertises that she can help women from the Dominican Republic find a spouse in the United States.
When confronted with that find and asked about it, Pedro denied that his mother was up to such a scheme. He laughed off the claims, telling Chantel’s family that they must misunderstand because they don’t speak Spanish.
One thing that neither Chantel or her parents asked is — if Pedro’s mom is an attorney, why is he sending so much money back home? It seems like she should be able to take care of her expenses without their help and it’s not like Pedro and Chantel are rolling in money.
