Rappers YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser, affiliates of YNW Melly, were both shot dead on Friday, according to reports.
Police are investigating after a Jeep reportedly arrived at the Memorial Hospital Miramar with three men inside and a broken back window.
They are said to have driven themselves to the hospital after an unknown shooter opened fire. Two of the men inside the Jeep were pronounced dead at the hospital while a third man is said to have survived.
CBS Miami reports that a heavy police presence including helicopters were spotted in the area around 7 am as police searched for evidence, suspects and a motive.

According to Hip Hop Overload, there are reports that the shooting was a robbery gone wrong. The rappers are said to have tried to fight back, causing them to lose their lives.
YNW Melly seems to have confirmed the deaths of his friends YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser on Twitter.
He wrote, “They Took My Brothers From Me Over Jealousy I know y’all watching over me it’s #ynw4l and after, they wanna see me break down and stop or in jail or a box but my n***as still need me they parents need me they family need me till we meet again my slimes.”

There does seem to be some confusion on Twitter over who from the YNW crew was shot. Many are posting about YNW Melly and how sad they are that he is gone. However, Melly is clearly fine and posted just hours ago about the death of his friends.
YNW Melly has been gaining notoriety lately after releasing Murder On My Mind. The single has been viewed 41 million times on YouTube in just two months.
Both YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser were both up and coming artists and hadn’t achieved the same level of fame as YNW Melly at the time of their apparent deaths.
