It’s been a rough couple of months for Sean “P. Diddy” Combs with the death of Kim Porter back in November as well as his split from Cassie Venture in October. Perhaps those are the reasons behind his new look, which has earned the rapper a new nickname — Scruff Puff.
Diddy debuted his new look on Instagram in a video he posted on Monday. In it, he wrote, “Rough, rugged and raw!! Sending you nothing but love and light on this beautiful Sunday!!!”
It didn’t take long for fans to comment on Diddy’s new salt and pepper beard and unkempt look. Some called for Diddy to get himself together while others seemed to like his new look and claimed he was “aging very well.”
The Shade Room was quick to repost the photo, calling Diddy out for not being as clean cut as he normally is. Naturally, those commenting away from Diddy’s official page were much more critical of his new look.
“Issa no for me puff,” wrote one fan while another chimed in, “But I thought his name was Brother Love now…”
While it’s probably not where P. Diddy’s new nickname came from, the Urban Dictionary definition of “scruff puff” makes this even funnier.
According to the website, a “scruff puff” is a “vagina that is growing hair back in and scruffy, rough and stubbly.”
Based on how Diddy showed off his rough and stubbly salt and pepper beard in the Instagram video, though, he doesn’t seem too concerned with his new look.
