The couple revealed they had known of one another for several years prior to meeting face to face. John David Duggar flew to Oklahoma for a church event where Abbie Grace Burnett lived. The two wanted to pursue a relationship and have followed the steps in order to move toward marriage.

As the second oldest Duggar son, fans have been waiting for John David to enter into a courtship. Of course, this also brings up questions about his twin sister, Jana. This is going to stir up plenty of speculation, especially with all of the younger adult sisters being married with children of their own.

Moving forward, the couple expressed their excitement. John David Duggar and Abbie Burnett are ready to plan a wedding and get married. If everything follows tradition, there is a possibility that the couple could choose to tie the knot before 2018 ends.

A brand new season of Counting On will be airing next week. While it was filmed several months ago, the news of John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett could secure the family another season.

Counting On airs Monday nights at 9/8c on TLC.
