Duke Swanson made an appearance in a recent photo shared by the Duggar family on their blog.
The adorable youngster is the littlest member of the Swanson family. He is connected to the Duggars because his older sister, Lauren, is set to marry Josiah Duggar.
In the picture, which appears to be Duke’s debut on Duggar social media, Josiah was pictured with his soon-to-be brother-in-law and his nephew, Gideon Forsyth.
The Swanson family will merge with the Duggar family at some point. Rumors have been swirling that the wedding date for Lauren and Josiah will be June 30, but that is only an assumption, not a confirmation.
Gideon Forsyth and Duke Swanson were born only two days apart. With their families becoming acquainted, there is a possibility the two will grow up to be the best of friends.
The Swansons and the Duggars have known each other for years. Lauren’s mom and her soon-to-be sister-in-law both recently had babies, so there is plenty in common for everyone to feel comfortable around one another.
Social media has made Duke Swanson a star before he can walk. It is unknown if the little guy will be making an appearance on Counting On, but it would definitely make sense given the upcoming marriage of his sister to Josiah Duggar.
