Nicki Minaj was nowhere to be seen during the 61st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night. Now, she won’t be anywhere near the BET Experience Concert either.

The Pinkprint rapper announced that she was backing out of the BET weekend show on Twitter, telling fans in an emoji filled message, “Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show. Summer Tour dates dropping soon.”

According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj’s cancellation of the BET gig was directly related to their dig at her over Cardi B’s Grammy win.

The questionable tweet from BET was meant to congratulate Cardi B. In it, they even shared an article about Cardi’s big night. However, the caption took aim at Nicki, who famously feuded with Cardi. It reads, “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lace front.”

Nicki is clearly still in her feelings too, because after announcing that she won’t be performing the BET concert, she continued to take aim at the network as seen in the tweets below.

Nicki also made sure to point out that it’s actually BET who is getting dragged right now for attempting to throw shade at her instead of just congratulating Cardi B on her big win.

It doesn’t really matter if you’re Team Nicki Minaj or Team Cardi B, Nicki has a point here. There really was no reason for them to use one rapper’s win to tear down another.

Now, it looks like BET is going to take a big L here as far as their BET Experience concert goes. Especially if all of Young Money backs out because that would mean losing out on a Lil wayne performance too.

The concert is scheduled for June and now, with Nicki Minaj refusing to perform for the network that decided to make her the butt of a joke, they’ll have to either scramble to find another headliner or cancel the show altogether.
