Tycho has announced a remix record for his critically acclaimed album Awake by releasing a killer RJD2 remix of the track “Apogee” which you can hear below.
RJD2 transforms the hard hitting groove into an impressively dynamic and spacious journey that goes from gently plucked guitars to warm synth basses and finally choppy electric piano chords before fading out with a cool, clacking beat.
Awake Remixes which drops January 15th features remix tracks from Com Truise, Bibio, Vampire Weekend bassist Baio, Beacon and more.
On top of this, Tycho has posted studio photos to his Instagram, indicating work on a new album before embarking on a tour that features both DJ sets and live dates at festivals in Miami FL, Austin TX and San Diego CA, the dates for which can be seen below.
