5 Seconds of Summer is celebrating a big anniversary today. It has been three years since their album, Sounds Good Feels Good, was released and fans are excited about this major anniversary.
On Twitter, #3YearsOfSGFG started trending after the band posted an update revealing that they were having a listening party on Instagram for the album to celebrate the anniversary.
Even though 5 Seconds of Summer found fame while touring with One Direction on their Take Me Home Tour in 2015, the band had actually been active since 2011, starting off on YouTube. It was in October 2015 that their second album Sounds Good Feels Good was released, becoming a huge success for the band.
The album peaked at number 1 in November of 2015, and it became a chart-topper in several countries. It also became the soundtrack to many young people’s lives.
