Maneet Chauhan is back on this new season of Chopped and fans are noticing a drastic difference in her look. She has shed an amazing 40 pounds of her small frame over the past year or so, something that Chopped fans are clearly talking about. But how did she manage to lose such a great amount of weight?
Chauhan told Nashville Fit Magazine that she realized that she had to do something about her weight because she was constantly feeling tired. She wanted to shed the weight, but she reveals that following a strict diet wasn’t in the cards as she had to taste foods all the time given her profession.
That’s when Maneet started counting calories and going to the gym. She tells the magazine that she’s not depriving herself every day and she’s not indulging either. It’s simple math really.
One of the things she does in the morning is drink apple cider vinegar with hot water. It’s also all about black coffee now and controlling her portion size.
Now that she’s dropped more than 40 pounds, Maneet Chauhan really wants to focus on exercise, getting into the gym more and dropping the excuses at the door. And with her brand new body, it makes sense why she wants to stay motivated and healthy.
“Besides my 10,000 steps every day, I’d like to add exercise into my routine,” she told the magazine.
Maneet Chauhan isn’t just known from Chopped on The Food Network. She’s also appeared on The Next Iron Chef, The View on ABC, Iron Chef America, and The Today Show. But when she’s not in front of the cameras, she has experience working as an Executive Chef in both Chicago and New York.
