Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Kim Porter was found dead at her home yesterday after reportedly suffering from cardiac arrest.
The 47-year-old former model shared three children with the music mogul and left many grieving her unexpected death.
Kim Porter cause of death: Star was ‘battling illness’
According to a TMZ report, while the cause of death is yet to be established, Porter was reportedly suffering from the flu or pneumonia in the last few days of her life.
The publication states that she was being treated with a saline and supplementation of vitamins.
Porter also reportedly recently took a trip to Africa and authorities are said to be looking into whether she may have contracted a tropical disease during her trip.
The TMZ report states that no illegal substances were found at the scene and she was pronounced dead by paramedics at her home.
One of her last Instagram post on November 5 is of Diddy and her children.
The late model also posted a tribute to Diddy on his birthday about two weeks ago. The former couple had a 13-year relationship that produced three children including 11-year-old twin daughters.
The former couple reportedly shared a close bond and frequently went on family trips together.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the official cause of death.
