Chris Stapleton and his wife performed at last night’s CMAs alongside Maren Morris and Mavis Staple, and during the performance, it was hard to ignore Morgane Stapleton’s growing baby bump.
She looked stunning in a long-sleeve sparkly black dress that hugged her pregnant figure. She’s clearly starting to show, meaning his pregnancy announcement just two weeks ago must be well over the 12-week mark.
The Stapletons have only revealed that Morgane is pregnant, but shared few details about the pregnancy. In fact, they haven’t shared how far along she is or when she’s expected to give birth.
That makes it difficult to predict her due date, but since she’s already showing, it’s possible her due date will fall around March, making her around 5 months pregnant now. It’s pure speculation at this point, but Chris did say they were adding one more baby – not twins this time so that we know. If she was carrying twins again, her baby bump may have been bigger at the five-month mark.

The pregnancy news was first revealed during a concert earlier this month, where Chris was caught talking about his kids, revealing that while fans knew about the 7-month-old twins, they didn’t know that they were expecting another baby. The reveal was caught on video and published by The Blast.
According to PEOPLE, Chris Stapleton also announced the twin pregnancy in concert. During a performance in Dallas, he revealed that Morgane, who was the mother of his two kids, would be the mother of two more.
The twin boys would arrive early, making him miss the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards.
Since the couple is rather private, little is known about the pregnancy. They haven’t officially shared the news on social media – not even on the pictures from the concert where he announced Morgane’s pregnancy.
Last night, Stapleton made sure to thank his wife after winning Male Vocalist of the Year, which was just one of many awards he took home last night. The two met in 2003 and got married in 2007.
“I’m on the road a lot, and I don’t get to always be the dad I would like to be…my wife, she sacrifices so I can be on the road,” Stapleton said in his acceptance speech, and close to tears, he talked about his kids and how Morgane makes sacrifices so he can go on the road.
Chris Stapleton would also take home Single of the Year and Song of the Year. He was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, but Keith Urban took that win.
