Jack Egan is a Los Angeles-based journalist who has long covered entertainment topics — movies, television and online — and all aspects of the business of entertainment from financing and production to what happens in front of the camera and behind the scenes in a shoot.
Egan was staff of The Washington Post (New York financial correspondent), New York Magazine (weekly columnist), U.S. News & World Report (assistant managing editor), Forbes (senior writer); Variety (editor for business specials); and Below the Line -- Voice of the Crew (senior writer).
He has also been a contributor to numerous publications including The New York Times; Directors Guild Quarterly Magazine; and Third Rail, an international magazine of the arts.
