FOX is using Twitter to promote their two popular new series, Sci fi thriller, "Fringe" and high school square pegs dramedy, "Glee."

Encore Broadcasts to Feature On-Screen Twitter Feeds by Cast and Producers!

In a broadcast first, FOX is hosting two nights of on-screen Twitter updates with talent during special “tweet-peats” of "Fringe" on Thursday, Sept. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and "Glee" on Friday, Sept. 4 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

"Fringe" was co-created by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. The premise follows a Boston-based FBI Fringe Division team under the supervision of Homeland Security. The team uses unorthodox "fringe" science and FBI investigative techniques to investigate "the Pattern", described as a series of unexplained and often gruesome occurrences which are occurring all over the world.

During the Sept. 3 and 4 episodes, viewers will have the opportunity to follow the cast and producers’ tweets – both online via Twitter and on-air via a lower-third scroll.

They will provide commentary about the episode, answer fan questions, reveal behind-the-scenes secrets and offer exclusive insights on the upcoming season.
