Big days for little people on Lifetime’s new series Little Weddings

Little Weddings premieres on Lifetime tonight — following the trials and tribulations of a family-run company which helps little people get married.

The three-episode series follows the McInturff Family, the owners of Sassy Bash Events in Simi Valley, CA, which helps plan weddings for smaller members of the public, including those with dwarfism.

Divorced mum-of-three Kelly is the head of the firm, but she has regular power struggles with her siblings Kacy, Kensey and TJ as to who actually has the power to run rule over the others.

The McInturffs are little people themselves, and the question that the series poses is can they run their business smoothly and create magical days for their clients without any BIG drama.

That’s not always easy when you’re trying to meet wedding couples’ wide-ranging requests.

The series premiere sees TJ and Kelly meet up with a husband-and-wife-to-be who want to get hitched at a bowling alley, and Kelly ends up struggling to find a higher-class venue for them.

Later, things come to a head over who’s in charge, with TJ thinking he shouldn’t have to take orders from Kelly.

Little Weddings premieres tonight, November 23, at 9/8c on Lifetime.
