American singer Lady Gaga, the stage name for Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was born on March 28th, 1986.
after initially being signed up at 19 Gaga had some trouble getting a record deal sorted until Akon intervened and convinced Interscope to sign a joint deal with his Kon Live Distribution label.
Gaga's debut album "Fame" was a critical and commercial success, selling over four million copies.
In 2009 Lady Gaga started her first headline tour.
