Getting married to a stranger is always a gamble; however, fans are getting more drama than ever in the match-up between accountant Paige Banks and financial manager Chris Williams.

While Chris convinced the experts he was ready for marriage; he admits he has ‘a few’ regrets after his dramatic season of Married at First Sight.

Chris admits he has a few regrets after this season

At this point, fans are calling for Paige to run away from the marriage rather than try to make it work.

While Chris has denied watching his own season, he has been unprecedentedly vocal on social media compared to previous participants of the show.

In a Q&A session on Instagram, one viewer asked the 27-year-old, “Any regrets?”

“A few,” Chris admitted.

Chris didn’t explicitly go into what his regrets were, but viewers can hunch that it may have to deal with how he treated Paige this season.

After getting intimate on their first night as a couple, Chris admitted to her the following morning that he wasn’t attracted to her.

Although Paige was willing to look past this, it would only be a day or two till he gave her something else to deal with – a pregnant ex-fiancee.

Still despite this, Chris convinced his new bride that, “Right now, it doesn’t matter if she’s pregnant or not. You’re my wife.”

“Nobody comes before you, so doesn’t matter, you know what I’m saying, what is going on with that,” he continued.

However, his actions told a different story as his first move after the honeymoon was to fly to Chicago for some time apart.

Chris admits to Pastor Cal he wants a divorce

Upon arriving back in Atlanta, Chris returned to his Paige with a completely, different tune.

In a counseling session with Pastor Cal, when talking about his ex-fiancee, Chris admits, “Maybe I am still in love with her. So I think that it’s best to separate, to divorce.”

While most of the other couples were hosting their closest friends for a housewarming party, Chris organized a meeting between the mother of his future child and his new wife.

It’s clear the conversation didn’t go according to Chris’ plan as his ex-fiancee admitted she wanted nothing to do with him as well.

And fans quickly took to Twitter to register their dislike of Chris.

It’s clear the saga between Paige and Chris isn’t over as they are shown having a conversation in a future episode, with the theme being “starting over.”

What do you think is next in the story of Chris Williams and Paige Banks?

Married at First Sight airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c pm on Lifetime.
