Mariah on The Young and the Restless has gone missing, which has viewers freaking out over what happened to her.
The CBS soap opera is keeping fans on their toes with a twist that for sure will add a little spice to the Abby (Melissa Ordway), Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Chance (Donny Boaz), and Devon (Bryton James) storyline. Let’s be honest, helicopter Abby hovering over Mariah and wallowing over Chance was getting pretty dull.
Mariah’s sudden business trip put Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) and Abby on high alert. After text messages went unanswered and Tessa noticed Mariah didn’t take her overnight bag, Abby turned to her Uncle Jack (Peter Bergman) for information.
Jack let them know Mariah was not on a business trip for Jabot. Yes, Mariah has officially gone missing, which has brought up a couple of burning questions from fans.
What happened to Mariah on Y&R?
The last time viewers saw Mariah, she was having a chat in the park with Ben, aka Stitch (Sean Carrigan). Mariah was on a jogging break, and Stitch just showed up, which has become his signature move since returning to Genoa City.
Although there’s a slim chance Mariah is on a business trip that doesn’t involve Jabot, all bets are on Stitch kidnapping Mariah. Remember Stitch was creepily watching Mariah through the window of the Chancellor mansion.
Plus, a shadow figure watched Abby while she slept. The person was never revealed, but all signs point to it being Stitch.
As for why Stitch would kidnap Mariah, there are several reasons. Jealousy and revenge are the first two that come to mind.
Abby has the life they dreamed of having together but with Chance, who isn’t even around. Stitch may also blame Abby his son Max’s (Jared Breeze) condition and is seeking revenge.
Whatever the case, if Stitch does have Mariah, then she’s in big trouble, and so is baby Chancellor.
Is Mariah leaving The Young and the Restless?
The new twist to the baby story has some viewers asking if Mariah is leaving Y&R, especially as some speculate Mariah is pregnant in real life.
No, Mariah is not pregnant in real life. Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) who is pregnant, shared a photo on social media talking real and fake bumps.
The CBS show doesn’t comment on the comings and goings of cast members.
However, fans shouldn’t be worried that Mariah is leaving The Young and the Restless. There have been no rumblings that Camryn was looking to exit the show.
Plus, Mariah going MIA makes perfect sense for the Abby baby story, and it’s about time the drama kicked up a notch.

I’m beginning to think that Mariah wants the baby for herself also, but can you please not drag this out forever?
I think Stich has her because something was going wrong with the baby and he saw Mariah in distress while he was being a peeping tom. He has taken her to the hospital. No one has called the hospital yet to find out she’s there.
In true soap style I think that Stitch is actually Chance with a makeover disguise so he can travel about and not blow his cover……..not sure why he’d take Mariah though. It’s all very soap-ish. Nothing makes too much sense.
Maybe Stitch did kidnap Mariah and he sent her to Bora Bora

I think with Stitches child taking a turn for the worse that he’s still in love with Abby and wants to raise the baby with her so who knows, maybe kidnapping Mariah is his way to get Abby to come back to him once he’s got the baby in hand
I agree. I have always thought something was strange about Chance not calling Abby, only texting occasionally. I think Stitch has Chase and now Moriah.

I don’t know why CBS y&r has to make it difficult for actors to be forced to dolonger contracts, making to many changes in y&r. As a fan, I’m sick of it. Kyle &Summer were a cute couple. All this coming and going is bull. Let it be once in awhile. Can’t we have a romance with a happy ending? I’d love to see Kyle & Summer make it. There are to many bad guys and girls now and the world is full enough of the crap now. This is an escape for me and you are ruining it for me and I’m ready to drop y&r after 40 years. Not impossible for me to do, believe that! I’m tired of the hate, vengeance, anger, etc. I want some happy, cause there sure isn’t much in the real world…
Would really like to see Danny Boaz brought back as Chance. He should not have been fired from the show in the first place. Won’t be the same with another guy showing up as Chance.

I agree, that Stitch has her. I’ve never liked him…he always seemed kind of creepy to me, however I do hope that they don’t drag this story out forever. I don’t see why they don’t even suspect him since he’s constantly there. It’s like he’s trying to find out if they know anything!
I think this story line is Stupid! There is no mention of the original Chance coming back & no mention of a new actor to play Chance for his return. So, Abby’s Hope’s of being a Family is non existent. Please end this Stupid Storyline or make sense of it!
I think Ben’s son, Max, who hates Abby, is the one who was spying on Abby. Max took Mariah to get the baby and cause Abby more grief. Stitch came back to town looking for Max, but hasn’t said anything because he doesn’t want to worry anyone. Stitch and Chance will have to get together to get Mariah and the baby back.

I think Nina has Mariah locked in the room, way down the hall, where no one never goes in, Ester told Nina that she can do her writing in there, that’s just my thought
Stitch kidnapped her and will come to the rescue and be in Abby’s debt. He wants Abby back and thinks this will do it
Yes move up the storyline on Mariah – boring – but anything with Phyllis is supreme. Best actress onboard and resembles Katharine Hepburn so a T
