Love Island USA viewers are comparing Shannon St. Clair to Mackenzie Dipman from last season, and it’s not a good thing.
The latest episode of the CBS reality TV show didn’t feature Shannon in the best light. Shannon’s true colors and claws came out when newcomer Aimee Flores requested Josh Goldstein meet her in the hot tub.
Then in the Babewatch Challenge, Josh chose to kiss Aimee over Shannon, sending the latter into a frenzy. Shannon unleashed on Josh, basically telling him that he betrayed her and she couldn’t trust him anymore.
Remember, they have been a couple for like five days, which is why social media was buzzing about the Shannon being Mackenzie 2.0.
Who is Mackenzie Dipman from Love Island USA Season 2?
A little refresher on Mackenzie. She coupled up with Connor Trott on day one. They had an instant connection from the start.
However, Mackenzie soon became clingy and needy, even crying over Connor not paying attention to her. Plus, she was super jealous and really insecure, which she showed in a nasty, mean way.
They went back and forth about their feelings for each other. Finally, after Casa Amor, Mackenzie ditched Connor for Jalen Noble, a move that outraged social media and the men in the villa.
Mackenzie was dumped from the island a couple of days before Connor. They reunited after the villa and dated for months.
How did Love Island USA viewers compare Shannon St. Clair to Mackenzie Dipman?
Twitter was buzzing with Shannon giving off Mackenzie vibes, and it’s not good for the new islander. Love Island viewers are not only opinionated, but their minds rarely change when it comes to a cast member.
One user even went as far as to tell Josh to get out while he can. Let’s be honest. He only went back to Shannon because he didn’t want to get dumped. Josh is going to run.
Several GIFs showed up on Twitter, too, with Shannon and Josh being the new Connor and Mackenzie. One featured Mackenzie crying when America chose Connor to go on a date with Lauren. Classic Mackenzie meltdown.
No matter how social media spins it, Love Island fans are pretty much all getting the feeling Shannon is the new Mackenzie. The CBS show is only four episodes in too. There’s so much more to come.
