This NCIS: Los Angeles recap comes from Season 11, Episode 16. The episode was called Alsiyadun and it aired March 1 on CBS.
The crux of the episode was that an operation went wrong overseas that involved Special Agent Fatima Namazi (played by Medalion Rahimi). She ended up being captured.
Fatima had been on nine previous episodes of NCIS: L.A. before this point, but she also wasn’t the only familiar face that popped back up.
CIA Officer Vostanik Sabatino (Eric Palladino) showed up again to help Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) as they tried to track down Fatima in person.
Meanwhile, back at the ops center, Navy SEAL Senior Chief Frank Wallace (Don Wallace) was also there to help in any way he could. He provided Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) with the limited information he had available.
While on the mission to find Fatima, Callen and Sam had to elicit the help of undercover CIA Agent Kadri Kashan Khan. This character was played by rapper Offset, who was also guest-starring in the episode.

Special Agent Fatima Namazi joins NCIS: Los Angeles cast
The entire intent for the Season 11, Episode 16 installment of NCIS: L.A. was to put Fatima in the field and show what she could do as an agent.
This is the first big step toward making her a permanent member of the cast. As we previously reported, actress Medalion Rahimi will be a full-time player for the back end of Season 11.
Knowing that information, it’s easy to predict how this episode concluded. The good guys were able to rescue Fatima with the help of the reluctant undercover agent. Now, she can go on to bigger and better things in future episodes.
It was fun to see Offset acting in this particular role, even though he didn’t have to do too much to play the part. It was also exciting to see him using words to spar with the character played by LL Cool J in several scenes.
