Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley have been in separate federal prisons since January 2023.

The couple was initially sentenced to 19 years behind bars, with Todd serving 12 and Julie seven.

While they are working on appeals, it is still believed they would serve almost all of their sentences since they were federal crimes they were convicted of.

However, it appears something has changed for the couple.

Todd and Julie have updated release dates and are closer than initially thought.

The reason behind the updated dates remains unclear, but something is happening for the Chrisleys.

Todd and Julie Chrisley’s updated release dates

According to the Inmate Locator, Todd Chrisley will be released in January 2033. That would be a decade from when he entered the Florida federal prison.

That gives Todd two fewer years to serve, which is quite a chunk of sentence removed.

Julie’s time was also shortened.

She was due to be released in January 2030 after completing her seven-year sentence.

Her updated release is October 2028, a little over a year before her initial date.

Savannah Chrisley is holding everything down

While Todd and Julie Chrisley are in federal prison, Savannah Chrisley is holding down everything. She is Grayson and Chloe Chrisley’s guardian.

Savannah visits her parents frequently, as does her brother, Chase Chrisley.

They have made it their mission to spread awareness about their parents’ living conditions in prison while also noting they weren’t expecting it to be a hotel. From no air conditioning during one of the hottest summers on record in the country to vermin running in the dorms, some of their concerns are health issues, too.

While the updated release dates didn’t include additional information, Savannah will likely address things on her podcast Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley. She often addresses the family dynamics and has her brothers on as guests.

Updates about Todd and Julie come from Savannah and Chase when they have information to report. They are both hopeful that an appeal will be able to overturn the convictions and bring their parents home.

However, updated release dates are a step in the right direction. The Chrisleys will be experiencing a difficult holiday season, as it will be the first without Todd and Julie.

Savannah Chrisley will continue to take care of things for Grayson and Chloe as they experience the holidays without their parents, too.

THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A CHANCE TO MAKE IT RIGHT EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES THEY COULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A HOME CONFINEMENT AND PAID BACK WHAT THEY OWED BUT SINCE ITS ABOUT CASH AND THE GOVERNMENT IS LOSING OUT THEY GET MORE TIME THE PEOPLE THAT ARE KILLING OTHER PEOPLE GET LESS TIME
ITS DISGUSTING.

I completely agree with what you said, it’s all about cash, money, and if they weren’t famous, then they wouldn’t be trying to make an example out of them, that’s exactly what they’re doing. I feel sorry for the Christmas because they’re good people and I think that they deserve a second chances well. People out there that are raping and killing children and people. And it’s disgusting. They get less time than people that are simply drug addicts or make a mistake on this on this c*** that I don’t really believe they did. I really do think that somebody else that did it . Hater,s that’s all it is. I’m praying for your mom and dad, and I’m praying for you girls and you too Grayson and Chase. I think that it’s gonna be OK. Just hanging there and just look up to God.

Unfortunately, for some, “state’s rights ” some of states’ prison systems have a payoff for good behavior.

I do not know if that is the case for federal prison system.

No they do not.

In federal prison system “Life means Life”[for rest of your natural life].

I am happy to hear that this family will have a reunion, prayfully before the end of a family member ‘s natural life.

It’s sad that we have an ex-president that has commit much more serious ats of fraud an has been treated as though he were a God, while the Chrisley’s depended on other people to correctly file taxes, they may not be perfect however they certainly didn’t deserve the sentences they were given.

Hahaha. Trump was and will be the best president in history. The life time corruption of the sitting President Biden will be exposed along with the crimes of his son.

Amen!
I’ve always love Julie and the kids since the show came on. But there was always something about Todd that rubbed me wrong. I didn’t like the way he treated Nanny Faye or Julie for one. He treated Chase like and out cast and Savanna was spoiled. You can’t treat kids that way. I don’t think Julie did anything wrong . I thing Todd made her do it and she’s afraid to tell. That’s my theory .

I do not have any knowledge of the evidence that led to their convictions but the word is “seeking accountability “.

There are people that have done worse crimes than this and that includes murder and they’re running free please the Justin system is not fair. They should have never been put in jail for that long the the New Jersey housewife only served months and Teresa still running doing things.

I do not watch the TV show or anything labeled reality TV so I am sincerely asking, is going to state jail or federal prison incarceration common for reality TV families?

They shouldn’t even be in there. What about TRUMP. My God, he’s got 40+ felony indictments against him and is running for president. It’s no wonder that I don’t believe in our justice system.

They deserved everything they got. Professing to be Christians and buying their way through life like most celebrities is just what they got. They also were not raising their children with real values. Expensive luxuries, not what are deserved by normal teenagers. They always wanted more and more and it did not matter who paid for it as long as it was not them. I am sure there was a deal to make a payment of some of the money taken but not 100% of what they took.

Poor people don’t get deals. Only those with money.
