Ronnie Ortiz-Magro (sometimes known as Raaaahhhn) debuted in the first season of Jersey Shore back in 2009. His on and off relationship with castmate Samantha Giancola was his main storyline throughout the show, but ultimately, the two broke up.
Both Ron and Sam have moved on since then- Sam is now engaged to Christian Biscardi, while Ron may or may not be dating his baby mama Jen Harley.
Jen and Ron have had a rocky relationship
Ron and Jen’s relationship has been a fixture throughout Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The two are continually breaking up and getting back together, and it’s been a difficult and sometimes even violent few years for them.
Ron and Jen became a couple in 2017. Jen became pregnant early on in their relationship, and the couple’s daughter, Ariana Sky Magro, was born on April 3, 2018.
On Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Ron was seen getting a bit too close to another woman while Jen was pregnant, and Jen publicly fumed during the airing of the episode.
A month later, in June of 2018, the infamous dragged-by-a-car incident occurred. During a fight in Las Vegas, Jen punched Ron in the face and then dragged him when he tried to get out of the car. She was arrested over the incident, which was the second time in a month that she’d been investigated for domestic violence.
Nevertheless, the two got back together. The couple remained off and on, and Ron continued showing up places with unexplained issues, for the next year and a half.
They continue to be off and on, and Jen has been arrested several other times for domestic violence-related charges, most recently in January.
Ariana hasn’t been seen on the show recently
Fans have worried about Ariana’s tumultuous family situation, but in a recent photo, she seems to be thriving despite her parents’ strained relationship.
In a recent Instagram post, Ron shared an adorable photo of his smiling daughter.
The last time viewers saw Ariana featured on the show, she was only a few months old. Now, however, she’s all grown up- she’ll turn two in just a few weeks.
Fans were thrilled to catch a glimpse of the now-toddling Ariana. Ron mentioned that he hasn’t seen his daughter in some time, but didn’t say why. Some speculated that it had to do with Jen’s legal problems, but Ron hasn’t confirmed.
In any case, Ron received lots of support from viewers. “Ariana’s smile lights up a room because she is your mini-me!” said one commenter, “Stay healthy, strong and positive! Praying every day that you are reunited with this precious girl soon.”
Hopefully, father and daughter will be able to catch up soon.
