The Kardashian-Jenner Klan’s head honcho is baring it all in a new interview!
During Diane Von Furstenberg’s podcast, InCharge with DVF, Kris Jenner revealed that her biggest regret is cheating on her late husband Robert Kardashian.
Jenner speaks on her affair
The famous momager told the designer that the scandalous affair “broke up her family.”
Kris shared how scared she was at the demise of her marriage, saying she didn’t know what to do after parting ways with Rob Kardashian. “I had four kids, I was single, I didn’t know where I was going to live, I didn’t know what I was going to do, I didn’t know how I was going to make a living and it was the scariest time.” She recalls.
The 64-year-old also revealed to Von Furstenberg why she stepped out on her first husband, attributing her bad decision to immaturity.
She says, “I got married when I was very, very young. I met Robert when I was 18 years old and we dated for four years and got married at 22.”
Kris’ affair details
During her 30s, Kris had an affair with Todd Waterman– a professional soccer player who was ten years her junior.
In 2012, Waterman gave an explosive interview to Daily Mail, sharing personal details about the affair, saying, “The love swept us away. We made our own different reality. It was special, it was a little crazy, a little wild – we didn’t exercise caution or self-restraint. I think we were both very much in love.”
He also shared, “We did some crazy things. I remember playing tennis at her home with my friend, the soccer player Justin Fashanu. And Robert was watching us play. We’re in the affair now, and I’m sure he suspected at this point.”
Kardashian indeed suspected that something was going on between the two, and hired a private investigator to catch them in the act.
Kris Jenner also chronicles this in her book All Things Kardashian where she shared that Robert eventually confronted the two lovers in a restaurant in Beverly Hills.
He later filed for divorce from Kris after 13 years of marriage.
The two remained friends until Robert was diagnosed with cancer and died in 2003 at the age of 59.
After her divorce, Kris married Olympian Bruce Jenner. They stayed together for 24 years and had two kids, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
However, in 2015 the couple divorced. Bruce later transitioned to Caitlyn Jenner.
Kris has found a new partner since then. The famous business mogul is now in a happy relationship with Corey Gamble, who currently appears on her famous reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians.
