Wayne Newton, Mr. Las Vegas, made a guest appearance on last night’s episode of The Bachelorette, as he was asked to help the male contestants write romantic love songs for Becca Kufrin.
The guys also had to perform the songs in front of an audience. While Becca’s potential matches clearly couldn’t sing, it was actually Newton who stole the show.
As soon as he was introduced, the guys completely freaked out with excitement — but not everyone was convinced it was genuine.

The star’s age and apparent plastic surgery work then quickly became the focus of a large-scale debate on Twitter.
While many fans were complimentary, saying Newton looked great for his age, others were less than kind.

As it turns out, Wayne Newton’s age is actually 76. He was born on April 3, 1942, and he is still going strong. Even though he has clearly had plastic surgery work done, he certainly looked much younger than he is.
The focus on last night’s The Bachelorette later shifted to the drama between Jordan Kimball and David Ravitz — both of whom were sent home.
The episode came after both The Bachelorette and its new sister show The Proposal became caught up in controversy over the past week.
