Rebecca Minkoff and Carly Chaikin guest judge on Project Runway

Guest judges on Project Runway
Rebecca and Carly with Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and Heidi Klum on this week’s Project Runway

This week’s Project Runway features a stellar pair of guest judges — designer Rebecca Minkoff and Mr. Robot star Carly Chaikin.

The pair will help Heidi Klum, Zac Posen and Nina Garcia choose who wins and who loses on this week’s challenge, which is inspired by a trip to Universal Studios Orlando.

The episode sees the designers head to the theme park for some much-needed R&R.

But they’re also there to get inspiration for their next round of designs — based on the theme of the “Urban Jungle”.

With the contestants all pretty exhausted after the past few weeks, the weariness starts to show for some.

Dexter struggles, and is freaking out that he’s going to stand out to the judges “not in a good way”.

But Cornelius seems pretty smug about him being “all over the place”, saying: “You know who’s going home next!”

Rebecca and Carly then help judge the designs presented on the catwalk — and they have bags of both fashion and screen experience between them.

Rebecca’s brand is one of today’s leading names in the world of handbags, accessories, footwear and apparel — and is a favorite of celebs around the world.

Meanwhile, Carly has hit the big time after starring as Darlene alongside Rami Malek and Christian Slater in hit hacker series Mr. Robot.

Both tweeted about their excitement in the lead-up to the show — with Carly calling the opportunity to appear as a guest judge a “dream come true”.

There are ten designers from the original 16 still left in this season — Cornelius, Dexter, Brik Allen, Erin Robertson, Jenni Riccetti, Laurence Basse, Mah-Jing Wong, Nathalia JMag, Rik Villa and Roberi Parra.

Ian Hargrove, Linda Marcus, Kimber Richardson, Sarah Donofrio, Alex Snyder and Tasha Henderson have all been eliminated — in that order.

Project Runway airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Lifetime.
